Loxley Evolution Technology (LET) has revealed its success in integrating advanced security systems, stepping into the era of Modern Security. It has equipped Mo Chit Bus Terminal with high-tech security solutions to combat crime, reduce criminal activities, and ensure peace of mind for passengers.
On December 8, 2021, Mr. Yuthaporn Chitakasem, CEO and Managing Director of Loxley Evolution Technology Co., Ltd. (LET), explained that the core of a security system is not just the modern equipment, but also the ability to effectively integrate existing technologies. Recently, LET, as a provider of centralized security technology solutions, earned the trust of the Transport Company Limited (BKS) to integrate security technologies at the Mo Chit Bus Terminal, Chatuchak, addressing issues of crime such as theft, fraud, and other disturbances affecting passengers. This collaboration is also part of the preparation for transforming Mo Chit into a SMART Station, aligned with BKS’s Smart Digital Transport initiative.
LET installed numerous high-quality CCTV cameras at the terminal, integrating them with AI technologies such as Face Recognition, License Plate Recognition, and People Counting systems. These technologies work seamlessly under the concept of Modern Security, significantly reducing the need for security personnel. Furthermore, the AI systems send data to the BKS’s Single Command Control Center for 24/7 monitoring and real-time management of security within the terminal. The system can generate reports and alert management effectively.
In the past, AI technologies deployed by LET under the Modern Security concept have successfully tracked and captured criminals, reducing crime within the Mo Chit Bus Terminal. Some examples include the capture of individuals transporting drugs, suspects involved in bombing incidents during their escape at the terminal, a taxi driver attempting to lure passengers in the parking lot, and several instances of theft within the terminal, all of which have greatly reassured travelers.
In addition to security work at Mo Chit, LET has also supported the “Integrated Security System of the Royal Thai Police Region 5,” an essential component of the Smart City project, integrating five northern region agencies under the leadership of the Royal Thai Police Region 5. Recently, LET delivered a prototype Mobile Incident Command Post to enhance operational efficiency in maintaining public safety and security. The mobile operation center allows officers to manage and respond to situations outside the area efficiently.
Mr. Yuthaporn further added that LET is a specialist in intelligent security technology, offering adaptable solutions to meet the diverse needs of users. The company is advancing towards becoming a provider of modern security systems for the New Society, under the concept of “Modern Security.” Importantly, LET has its own platform, the Beyond Platform, developed in collaboration with the technology expert, Brazen Technologies of Singapore. This intelligent security platform leverages big data and AI, integrating CCTV, drones, sensors, and other systems to accurately monitor urban, provincial, and regional areas, solidifying LET’s position as a leader in advanced security technology for the future.
