(SLIC) are strengthening Thai–Chinese collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to develop an AI-powered urban water monitoring and early warning system in Pattani, laying the foundation for a more resilient and disaster-ready city.

Smart City Expo World Congress network.

Hangzhou Ruhr IoT Technology Co., Ltd.
The collaboration aims to strengthen urban water management capabilities and enhance Pattani’s preparedness in responding to flood-related risks.

The system will integrate real-time data from key monitoring devices across the city, enabling authorities to better understand changing water conditions, identify potential risks, and respond more effectively before situations escalate.

The system will connect data from key monitoring sensors to a centralized real-time platform, including:
- Rainfall MonitoringTracks rainfall levels and changes in precipitation conditions.
- River Level MonitoringMonitors changes in river water levels to support early risk assessment.
- Road Water Level MonitoringDetects water accumulation on roads and urban areas vulnerable to flooding.
The integrated platform will support
